In paper and online, Business Schools look the same. Clichés are used everywhere — the man in the business suit, the coat of arms, and a lot of talk about leadership [1]. None of the leading business schools differentiate themselves from the competition. The are boring and do not really say anything about the school.
Idea
Theory in Practice
The world of business is fascinating and interesting when put into context. A large tenet of the school is theory in practice. Let’s do something the competition would never think of. Pull back the curtain and revel the business and economics of our everyday lives.
Implications
Much better results
We created a series of online banners and print pieces that were as fun as they were informative. There were two campaigns; one for executive MBAs and the other for professionals interested in continuing education. Through the fall of 2009 and Spring of 2010 enrollment in both programs is up.
